Carhartt -Working Clothes-

 Today I will talk about the Working Clothes brand "Carhartt'' that was established in Detroit, Michigan by Hamilton Carhartt in 1882. Carhartt has made working clothes that are comfortable, tough and strong and convenient. Comfortableness, toughness and convenience are important factors for workers.

There are some other working clothes brands like Dickies and Ben Davis, but I like Carhartt more than other brands because it is popular with skaters and hip hop fans. Of course, Carhartt is popular with workers, but it's also popular with people who like street fashion, because hip hop artists often wear Carhartt clothes, such as Eminem and Nas. And Carhartt has collaborated with other brands, such as Stussy, Nike, A Bathing Ape and more. And it collaborated with the women's brand EMODA.

My favourite item is this. This is the Duck Quilting Jacket. The popular Carhartt's item is the clothes that is made of duck cloth. Duck cloth is made from hemp, which is weighty, hard and thin. This is used for making yacht sails and military uniforms. You know the fabric is very tough, so it is good for working clothes. We can see the aging on duck cloth if we wear and wash it many times like jeans.
